Scale is a lightweight modular building set that allows children and adults alike to build and explore physical infrastructure of their own design. This system provides a simple and intuitive building process and a seemingly endless array of options for what to construct. Scale was designed to bring people together and to promote creativity and interactivity.

Intended Use Spaces
Scale is intended to be used in both indoor and outdoor communal environments such as public spaces, museums, offices, parks, outdoor event spaces, and educational institutions, but is well suited for almost any environment with room to play and create.
Concept Exploration
As I like to put it, Scale is “the adult-sized, climbable Tinker Toy”. Its versatility goes far beyond arranging basic cubes - with a plethora of proposed add-ons such as climbing nets, fabric seats, and solid surfaces, Scale can become anything you need it to be. Perfect for a group workspace, a team building exercise, company expo display systems, mobile business operations, and so much more, Scale furnishes any setting with a new world of possibilities.
This is a working prototype made with available materials and machinery, a production model would be made of more appropriate alternative materials.
